This page will be devoted to the culinary delights of South American cuisine and the food culture of Brasil which indeed is about as varied, mixed and exotic as the Brasilians themselves. As well as the food, I will also be reporting back on the best places to go out and Eat. From The local markets, to the "por kilo" restaurants I aim to try it all and in doing so find out where the brasilians head to for a refereshing coconut water on the beach or an almighty Feijao - this will be the page to savour!

One of the restaurants in Rio that is certainly on my list not online for the panoramic views of Rio below but moreover for the whole experience of eating in a treehouse - many in fact that are made out of bamboo!! Perched on the hilltops I imagine that the views from Aprazivel are arguably some of the best and most impressive of Rio
The Signature National Brazilian Dish of Feijao. Made up of Black beans and pork. This hearty meal is certainly what keeps the Brazilians active and something that one can come across anywhere. Something that I am aiming to master to the delight or complete dismay of my favoured guinea pigs on my return home!
